This Aston Martin AMR V12Vantage GT3 (Chassis 027) was prepared by OPTIMUM Motorsport and driven during the 2018 season by Jonny ADAM and Flick HAIGH. “75” is pictured during the Silverstone round of the 2018 British GT Championship.
Jonny and Flick went on to win the overall 2018 British GT Championship, at the final round in this car.
The Vantage GT3 has been designed from the ground up, by Aston Martin Racing / PRODRIVE in Banbury, UK, to offer customers the latest in race-car technology and embraces all the experience Aston Martin Racing has learnt from years of engineering and competing in international sports car racing with the DBR9, DBRS9 and the latest Vantage GTE.
It uses a modified version of Aston Martin’s production 6.0 litre V12 engine. The dry-sumped engine produces more than 600 bhp with 700 Nm of torque and its position has been optimised further to improve weight balance.
There are 23 numbered limited-edition prints of this artwork available from a total edition of 25.
I have also had the original artwork hand-signed by both Jonny and Flick at the Donington Finals meeting which, at present, has “pride-of-place” on my Studio wall…
