The Ferrari FXX K is a high-performance limited production (32 units) race car built by automobile manufacturer Ferrari in Maranello, Italy and designed by Flavio Manzoni, Director of Centro Stile Ferrari.
The FXX K is based on the street-legal LaFerrari. The “K” in the name stands for “Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), the technology used to help deliver maximum performance from the hybrid power train. The internal combustion engine V12 produces 848 hp combined with the 187 hp electric motor to make 1,036 hp in total.
“#15” was purchased by Google VP (of Engineering), Benjamin Sloss-Treynor as a surprise birthday gift (!) for his wife, Kristine. Both Benjamin and Kristine share the same passion and are both established members of the exclusive XX Corse Clienti program in which Ferrari organizes track day events for the owners and their friends.
